Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ,

      Sinθ = 4/5

we know that,

  sinθ =perpendicular/hypotenuse

so from here, we get

 perpendicular=4

 hypotenuse=5

 adjacent=?

so by applying pythagoras theorem in this

 (h)^2 = (p)^2 + (a)^2

putting the values

 (5)^2 = (4)^2 + (a)^2

 (a)^2 = 25 - 16

 (a)^2 = 9

        a= 3

 so the adjacent side is 3

We know that ,

     cosθ = adjacent/hypotenuse

so, cosθ = 3/5

  so your answer is 3/5
