Sin is positive only in 1st and 2nd quadrant
In the question Sin is 4/5 which is positive
Since it doesn't belong to 1st quadrant then it must belong to the 2nd quadrant
Next, cos is positive only in 1st and 4th quadrant. As the angle lies in second quadrant cos value will definitely be negetive.
As you as the sin value as 4/5, if we construct a triangle with it then the triangle would be like the one mentioned in the attachment (please check the pic above)
Cos theta = base / hypotenuse
=3/5
since the value is negetive cos theta would be –3/5
