Squaring both sides,

sin square A=1/4

now.sin square A +cos square A = 1

or,1/4 + cos square A=1

or,cos square A=1-1/4

or,cos square A=3/4

or,cos A=√3/2

LHS

3cosA-4cosA

3×√3/2-4×√3/2

3√3/2-4√3/2

-√3/2

=0

therefore LHS=R.H.S
