if sin A = 12/13. find cos A

Answer:

sin a=p/h

cos a=b/h

to calculate base we have to deduct square of perpendicular from square of hypotenuse ie.

b2(square)=13(square)-12(square)

=169-144

=25

so base is 5

there cos a would be =5/13
