Consider the right triangle of sides 15 cm, 8 cm and 17 cm, with angle A at opposite of 15 cm long side, so that,

sin A = 15/17

cos A = 8/17

tan A = 15/8

∴  tan A  =  15 / 8

Plz ask me if you've any doubt on my answer.

Thank you. :-))

Answer:

tan A= 15/8

Step-by-step explanation:

sinA=opp/hypt =15/17

we should find the adjacent side by pythogorous theorem

cos A=adj/hyp =8/17

tan A=sinA/cosA =

15/17÷8/17= 15/8
