sin a = 2/5 = p/h

h^2 = p^2 + b^2
25 = 4 + b^2
21 = b^2
b = √21

tan a = p/b = 2/√21

tan^2 a = 4/21

21 + 21 tan ^2a
21 ( 1+tan^2 a )
21 ( 1 + 4 /21 )
21 ( 21+4)/21
21+4
