Given :-

sinA = √3/2

We know that,

sin60° = √3/2

=> sinA = sin60°

=> A = 60°

Since, A = 60°

=> cotA = cot60°

Now cot60° = 1/√3

So cot²60° = (1/√3)²

=> cot²60° = 1/3

So 2cot²60° = 2 × 1/3

=> 2cot²60° = 2/3

Now,

2cot²A - 1

= 2cot²60° - 1

=> 2/3 - 1

=> 2/3 - 3/3

=> - 1/3

Your answer :-

 \frac{ - 1}{3}  \\

Hope it helps dear friend ☺️
