Given:sinA=3/4

then let opposite side be 3k

and let hypotenuse be 4k

then by using Pythagoras Theorem a

 {3}^{2}  +  {x}^{2}  =  {4}^{2}

 x = \sqrt{16 - 9}

 x =  \sqrt{7}

ie adjacent side

 =  \sqrt{7k}

cosA=

 \sqrt{7}  \div 4

tanA

 = 3 \div  \sqrt{7}
