then cosA =√1-9/25

or, cosA=4/5

therefore tanA=sinA/cosA=3/4

5² = 3²+side²

side²= 25-9

side = √16 = 4

cos A = adjacent side /hypotenuse side

cos A = 4/5

tan A = sinA/cosA
