Using Pythagorean’s theorem ,

We know SinA=opp.to theta/Hypotenuse which means for adjacent use the formula that means you get 4=adjacent to theta

And we already know that cosA is equal to adjacent to theta/hypotenuse =4/5

Therefore cosA =4/5
