If sin(A - B) = 1/2and cos(A + B) = 1/2, then find the values of A and B.

Given data:

Sin (A-B)=1/2and Cos (A+B)

By this we will get the

Our equations are

Sin (A-B)= 30 _____(i)

Cos (A+B) =60 degree _____(ii)

Adding 1 and 2

A-B+A+B=60+30 degree

2A=90 degree

A=45degree

Putting A =45degree in equation ii)

A+B=60degree

45 degree +B=60 degree

B=60 -45 degree

B=15 degree

Hence A=45degree and B= 15 degree .
