If sin A= Cos A,then find the value of 2tanA+cos^2A

SinA=CosA


SinA/CosA=1


TanA=1


TanA= Tan45°


A=45°


So

2×Tan45° + Cos^2(45°)


=2 ×1 + (1/√2)^2


=2 +1/2


=5/2
