In that case, we have to prove that  A+B =90°

Now, given expression, Sin A = Cos B

⇒ Sin A = Sin (90°-B)

Since, we know that Sin (n*90 - α) = Cos α, if n=1

                                               =Sin α, if n=2

                                               = -Cos α, if n=3 and

                                               = -Sin α, if n=4

Hence, cancelling Sin from both sides, A= 90° - B, ⇒A+B = 90° (Proved)
