Step-by-step explanation:

sin(a - b) = 1/2

sina*cosb - cosa*sinb = 1/2 --------(1)

Cos(a + b) = 1/2

cosa*cosb - sina*sinb = 1/2 -------(2) sina*cosb-cosa*sinb=cosa*cosb-sina*

sinb

sina(cosb + sinb) = cosa(cosb + sinb)

sina = cosa

tana = 1

tan a = tan(π/4)

a = π/4 = 45°

sin(a - b) = sin{30°}

a - b = 30°

b = a - 30°

b = 45° - 30°

= 15°
