if sin A + sin 2A = x and cos A + cos 2A = y then (x² + y²)(x² + y² -3)

Answer:

x^2+y^2=2+2(sin A sin 2A+cos A cos 2A)

=2+2 cosA=2(1+cosA)

x^2+y^2-3=2cosA-1

(x^2+y^2)(x^2+y^2-3)=2(cosA+1)(2cosA-1)
