Given :-

Sin A + Sin² A = 1

To Find :-

cos² A + cos⁴A

Solution :-

It is given that

Sin A + Sin² A = 1

Sin A = 1 - sin² A

We know that

1 - sin² A = cos² A

Sin A = cos² A

Now We have to find

cos² A + cos⁴A

cos⁴A can be written as cos² A × cos² A

cos² A + cos²A × cos²A

cos² A = sin A

sin A + cos² A × cos² A

sin A + sin A × sin A

sin A + sin² A

It is already given sin A + sin² A = 1
