Let the sin● be x. Then cosec● will be 1/x as cosec● = 1/sin●.
Now, sin● + cosec● = 2
that is, x + 1/x = 2
then {x + 1/x}^2 = x^2 + 1/x^2 + 2(x×1/x)
put the value of x + 1/x in L.H.S.
that is, 2^2 = x^2 + 1/x^2 + 2
that is, 4-2= x^2 + 1/x^2
that is 2 = sin^2 ● + cosec^2●
Now, sin● + cosec● = 2
that is, x + 1/x = 2
