Here we take theta =x,

Therefore, We have

Sin x-cosx=0

To find:- sin x4 +cosx4=?

Solution :-

We have

Sinx -cosx=0

Sinx= cosx

Sinx= sin(90-x)

X=90-x. (sin is cancel out)

2x=90

X=45degree.................(1)

We know that

sin45=1/2

Putting the value of sin in (1),

Sin45=1/2

Now,

Sin x4+ cos x4

= (sin45)raise to 4 +cos45 raise to4

= (1/2)raise to 4 + sin45 raise to 4

(since cos x= son x)

= 1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2 + 1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2

= 2(1/16)

=1/8

Therefore the value of-

Sin x 4 +cos x 4=1/8
