if sin.cos=1/8 then find the value of (sin-cos)2

Here's ur ans. ⬇

(Sin - cos )^2 =sin^2 + cos^2 - 2 sin. cos

= 1 - 2 × 1/8 { Because sin^2 + cos^2 = 1}
= 1 - 1/4
= 3/4
