sin + cos = √2cos

or, sin = √2cos - cos

or, sin = cos(√2 - 1)

or, cos = sin/√2 - 1

or, cos = sin(√2 + 1)/(√2 - 1)(√2 + 1)

or, cos = √2sin + sin/(√2)² - 1

or, cos = √2sin + sin/2 - 1

or, cos = √2sin + sin

or, cos - sin = √2sin
