if sin d =1/2and d is an acute angle find value of 3 cos d - 4 cos^3d​

Answer:

Perpendicular = 1

Hypotheses = 2

Base = b

we know

p² + b² = h²

1 + b² = 4

b² = 3

b = √3

cos = √3/2

( 3 x √3/2 - 4 x ( 3√3 ) /8 )

3√3/2 - 3√3/2

= 1
