I will take x instead of theta for easy typing
square the lhs and rhs....
we will get. sin^2x + cos^2x +2sinxcosx=3
1 + 2sinxcosx= 3
sinxcosx =1.......(1)
tanx= sinx/cosx and cotx= cosx/sinx
tanx + cotx
sin^2x + cos^2x/sinxcosx
1/sinxcosx
we know that sinxcosx =1 from eq1
so answer is one.....
