given : sin∅ = cos∅
then, tan ∅ = 1
⇾ ∅ = 45°
therefore the value of
2 tan ∅+ cos2∅
= 2 tan 45° + cos (2×45)°
[ ∅ = 45° ]
= 2 tan 45° + cos 90°
= 2
