Step-by-step explanation:
. We know a right angled traingle have three sides we call them Perpendicular ,Base and Hypotenuse.
.Hypotenuse=> It is called as the sum of other two sides or sq.of both the sides. It is the biggest side.
. Perpendicular=>It is the height from the top of the triangle to the base and it is of 90°.
.Base =>The distance or the side below of the triangle is known as its base.
We know.
i.(H)^2=(B)^2+(P)^2.
ii.(B)^2=(P)^2-(H)^2.
iii.(P)^2=(B)^2-(H)^2.
Sin theta=P/H or Perpendicular /Base.
So, Use pythogerous theorem to find its base
==>(H)^2=(B)^2+(P)^2
==>(29)^2=(B)^2+(20)^2.
==>841=(B)^2+400.
841-400=>(B)^2
441==>(B)^2
(B)^2==>√441
Base==>21cm.
Hence the sides of this Right angled triangle are 29,20,21.
We know,Cos theta=B/H or Base/Hypotenuse.
So,Cos theta =21/29
