Answer:

tan theta= 13/5

Step-by-step explanation:

sin theta= 13/12

Let us assume sin theta =a/b

We know sin theta=perpendicular/hypotenuse

So perpendicular is =13 and hypotenuse is=12

By Pythagoras theorem we get value of base

Then put the value of base in cos thetha =base / hypotenuse.

base= √13^2 -12^2

= √169-144

= √25

= 5

cos theta= 5/12

then

tan theta= sin theta/ cos theta

= (13/12)/ (5/12)

= (13/12)*(12/5)

= 13/5
