sin \theta \:  =  \frac{3}{5}  \\  \\

Now,

1 - cos \: 2\theta \:  \\  = 2 {sin}^{2}  \: \theta \:  \\  = 2 \times  (\frac{3}{5} )^{2} \\  =2 \times   \frac{9}{25}  \\  =  \frac{18}{25}
