Sin theta + cos theta = root 2 cos theta

Sin theta =  root cos2 theta - cos theta sin theta = costheta ( root2- 1)    Cot theta = 1/root2-1

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let theata be A

sinA + cosA root 2 cos (90-A)

SinA +cosA= root 2 sinA

CosA = root 2sinA - sinA

CosA = sinA (root - 1)

CosA/sinA =(root - 2)

So, cotA= root 2 -1

Hope it helps
