Answer:2 +cos square theta

Step-by-step explanation:Given:- sin theta = cos theta

To find:- 2tan theta + cos square  theta

Solution :- 2 tan theta + cos square theta = 2 (sin theta /cos theta) + cos square theta.... {eq. (1)}

But sin theta = cos theta

Therefore tan theta = 1

Therefore by putting  tan theta = 1 in {eq. (1)} we get

2tan theta + cos square theta =2×1 +cos square theta

=2 + cos square theta
