 \sin( \alpha )  =  \cos(2 \alpha )  \\  \\  \sin( \alpha )  = 1 - 2 {sin}^{2} ( \alpha ) \\  \\ sin \alpha  =  - 1, \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\  \alpha  =  \frac{3\pi}{2} (rejected) \: , \:  \frac{\pi}{6}

so \:  -  \\  \\ =   \cot(3 \alpha )   \\  \\ =  \cot(3 \times  \frac{\pi}{6} )  \\  \\  = 0
