Answer:

Theta is written as A.

Given,

= > sinA + sin^2 A = 1

= > sinA = 1 - sin^2 A

We know, 1 - sin^2 A = cos^2 A = > sinA = cos^2 A

Square on both sides: = > sin^2 A = cos^4 A

= > 1 - cos^2 A = cos^4 A

= > 1 = cos^4 A + cos^2 A

In question we are asked for the value of cos^4 A + cos^2 A and from above result it is 1. cos^4 A + cos^2 A = 1
