Answer:

sec theta = 1/cos theta

tan theta = sin theta / cos theta

sec theta + tan theta = 1/ cos theta + sin theta / cos theta

=( sin theta +1)/cos theta

= a/b +1 / b^2 - a^2

= (a+b)/b ( b^2-a^2)

= (a+b) / b ^3 - a^2b
