we \: have \: value \: of \: sin \:  \alpha  = 3 \div 5

to \: find \: the \: value \: of \: cos \:  \alpha we \: have \: to \: find \: the \: value \: of \: base \: of \: triangle \: formed \: by \: these \: values \:

so \: value \: of \: base \: o \: triangle \: is \:  = 4

so now we can easily find the value of cos alpha

so cos alpha=base/hypotenuse.

so cos a =4/5.

hence we can also find the value of cot a = 5/4

Answer:Let theta = angle A

Sin theta = 3/5

Sin theta = Opposite side / Hypotenuse

= 3/5

Let a ABC,

Then AB be the Adjacent side

AC = Hypotenuse = 5

BC = Opposite side = 3

By, Pythagorus theorem,

AC² = BC² + AB²

AB² = AC² - BC²

= 5² - 3² = 25 - 9 = 16

AB = √16 = 4

Cos theta = Adjacent side/Hypotenuse

= AB/AC = 4/5

Cot theta = Adjacent side/Opposite side

= AB/BC = 4/3
