Answer:

sin ø = 3/5

  • sin ø = opposite/hypotenuse

sin ø = BC/AC

To find another side...

By using Pythagoras theorem

(Hypotenuse)² = (Side)² + (Side)²

(AC)² = (AB)² + (BC) ²

(5)² = (AB)² + (3) ²

25 = (AB)² + 9

(AB)² = 25 - 9

(AB)² = 16

(AB) = 16

AB = 4

Therefore, we got another side.

Now all sides of triangle are

AB = 4 cm; BC = 3 cm; AC = 5 cm

cos ø = Adjacent/Hypotenuse

cos ø = AB/AC

cos ø = 4/5

cot ø = Adjacent/Opposite

cot ø = AB/BC

cot ø = 4/3

Therefore, the values of cos ø = 4/5 & cot ø = 4/3
