Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

\sin x=\cos x\\\\\tan x=1\\\\x=2n\pi +\frac{\pi}{4}\\\\for\;\; n=0\\\\x=\frac{\pi}{4}=45^0\\\\for \;\;n=1\\\\x=\frac{9\pi}{4}=405^0\\\\AND\;\;SO\;\;ON

Hope it helps

GIVEN

 \sin(x)  =  \cos(x)

TO FIND :- x

SOLUTION :-

 \sin(x)  =  \cos(x)  \\  \\  \\  \implies  \sin(x)  =  \sin(90 - x)  \\  \\  \\  \\  \implies x = 90 - x \\  \\  \\  \\  \implies 2x = 90 \\  \\  \\  \implies \: x =  \frac{90}{2}  \\  \\  \\  \\  \implies \boxed{x = 45}

Therefore, x = 45°

VERIFICATION :-

LHS = Sin x

= sin 45°

= 1/2

RHS = Cos x

= Cos 45°

= 1/2

Hence, LHS = RHS so our answer is correct.
