sin x = cos y
sin x = sin(90 - y)
CANCELLING SIN ON BOTH SIDES
So, x = 90 - y

AND FINNALY X + Y = 90

sin x=cos y
 \sin(x)  =  \sin( \frac{\pi}{2} - y )
x =  \frac{\pi}{2}  - y
x + y =  \frac{\pi}{2}
