sinA = X

or Perpendicular / Hypotenuse = X/1

Perpendicular = Xk units

Hypotenuse = k units

By applying Pythagoras theorem

k² = Base² + Perpendicular ²

Base² = X²k² - k²

Base = k√(x²-1)

CosA = k√(x²-1)/ k

= √(x²-1)

So value of cos A will be √(x²-1)
