CosA = adj/hyp ==> adj/3

Opp= 1 hyp = 3 adj = ?

adj = $\sqrt{hyp^2-opp^2}$

adj = $\sqrt{3^2 -1^2}$

adj = $\sqrt{9-1}$

adj = $\sqrt{8}$

adj = $2\sqrt{2}$

THEREFORE CosA = 2√2/3
