sinA = opposite side/hypotenuse

= 1/3

cosA = adjacent side/hypotenuse

By Pythagoras theorem

1×1 + (X)raise to 2 = 3×3

1 + (X) = 9

(X) = 9-1 = 8

cosA = 8/ 3
