sin A = P/H = 24/25

Therefore P = 25k and H = 25k

Now, B^2 = (25k)^2 - (24k)^2 (Pythagoras theorem)

B^2 = 49k^2

B = 7k

Now, CosA = B/H = 7k/25k = 7/25

Thus, the reqd ans is 7/25 :)

Answer:

 \frac{7}{25}

Step-by-step explanation:

Sin A = 24 / 25 = opposite side / hypotenuse

Cos A = adjacent side / hypotenuse

opposite side = 24

adjacent side = ?

hypotenuse = 25

By Pythagoras theorem

hypotenuse ² = opp ² - adj ²

25² = 24²- x²

x² = 25²-24²

x² = 625 - 576

x² = 49

x = 7 = Adjacent side

Therefore Cos A = adj / hypo = 7 /25
