if sinA + sin²A = 1, then find the value of (cos²A + cos⁴A=?)

sinA + sin²A = 1

or, sinA + sin²A = sin²A + cos²A ..........................................(∵ sin²Ф + cos²Ф = 1)

∴ sinA = cos²A

cos²A + cos⁴A

or,cos²A + (cos²A)²

Putting cos²A = sinA

sinA + (sinA)²

or,sinA + sin²A

= 1.............................................................(Given)

∴ cos²A + cos⁴A = 1
