2
Sin α + cos β = 2

Now, squaring both sides,

( sin α + cos β ) ² = 2 ²

Sin² α + cos² β + 2 sinα cos β = 4

Sin ² α + cos² β = 4 - 2 sin α cos β

So, value of Sin ² α + cos² β = 2 ( 2 - sin α cos β ).

anushkamyr: It is not the correct answer.. I've also done so but it's a MCQ nd there is no such option there
anushkamyr: Not even none of these
Anonymous: What are the options.?
anushkamyr: O,1,2 nd 4
Anonymous: OK. wait.
Anonymous: Is your question correct..?
Anonymous: I think there should be cos alpha + cos beta
