Answer

Given:-

 \sin( \theta)  =  \frac{1}{2}

To find:-

value \: of \:  \cos( \theta)

Solution:-

 \sin( \frac{1}{2} )  =  \frac{p}{h}

by using Pythagoras theorem

find the base of right angle triangle

value of p and h is given

H²=P²+B²

2²=1²+B²

4=1+B²

B²=4-1

b =  \sqrt{3}

now we have value b

 \cos( \theta)  =  \frac{b}{h}  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}
