hey !!

As you know

sin30°=1/2

cos60°=1/2 .

so...

sinx=sin30°

x=30°. {sin cancelled }-----1)

and coy=cos60°

y=60° .-----2)

{cos cancelled }

now. .you want .

{x+y }=?

30°+60° =90°>>{ by using 2 and 1 }

hope it helps you !!

Given; sinx=1/2 and cosy=1/2

To Find; x+y

Solution; sinx=1/2 and cosy=1/2

This question can be easily solved by finding the values at sin x and cos y obtains the values of 1/2 . After that put the values of x and y in the equation.

sinx=1/2.

sin30°=1/2

sinx=sin30°

x=30°

similarly cosy=cos60°

y=60°

x+y=90

Hence the value of x+y is 90
