Hi
The value of x can be 90 or 0
When you will square both the sides it will be
Sin^2x+cos^2+2sinx.cosx=1
1+ 2sinx.cosx=1
2sinx.cosx=0
Sinx.cosx=0
So either x is 90 or 0.

Heya!!

Here's ur answer..

We know that,

sin²x + cos²x = 1
And sin x + cos x = 1 ( given)

Squaring

(sin x + cos x) ² = 1
sin²x + cos²x + 2 sin x cos x = 1
1 + 2 sin x cos x = 1
2sin x cos x = 0
sin x cos x = 0

Now, we know that, in only 2 cases their product can be 0.

1. Either x is 30 °
2. Or x is 90°.

Hope it helps!!

Thank you ☺️
