If sinx=cosx , then the value of x is?

tanx = tan45°.
x = 45°

Answer:

Sin x = Cos x ……….(1)

dividing both side to (1) by “Cos x”

Sin x / Cos x = Cos x /Cos x

Since Tan x = Sin x / Cos x

Tan x = 1

x= arc Tan (1)

x= 45° and 225°

Note: “We have to chose the value of x acute that is less than 90° or π/2 radian”

Hence

x= 45° or π/4 Radian ……..(Answer)
