If the size of the small intestine is same like esophagus, then :-
1) process of digestion will be reduced
2) some of the food particles may not be broken down into smaller particles leading to abdominal pain
3) difficulty in the passage of partial digested food which may get accumulated in the stomach leading to sivere abdominal pain
4) may lead to operation of removal of food
