Given :

Size of an atom = 1 A°

Size of the tip of the sharp pin = 10⁻⁵ m

Original height of the Mount Everest = 10⁴ m

To Find :

The magnified height of the Mount Everest = ?

Solution :

  • The size of an atom changes from 1 A° to 10⁻⁵ m

           Magnification=\frac{10^{-5}}{10^{10}}

  • From the above relation,

            Height of the mountain  =\frac{10^{-5}}{10^{10}}\times10^{4}

                                                     =10^{9}m

The magnified height of the mount everest is 10⁹ m
