If slant height of a conical tent is 15 m and the radius of
base is 4m . find the cost of cloth required to prepare tent
at the rate o f Rs 200 per square meter .

The Radius of conical tent (r) = 4m

• The Rate of Preparing tent = 200 per m²

We know that :-

  • CSA of Cone = π × radius × slant height (πrl)
  • And Area of cloth = CSA of Cone

By using this formula :-

→csa =  \frac{22}{7}  \times 4 \times 15 \\  \\ →csa =  \frac{88}{7}  \times 15 \\ \\→  csa =  \frac{1320}{7}  \\  \\ →csa = 188.57 \:  {m}^{2}

So The Area of clothe = 188.57

Now ,

→ The cost of required clothe = Area × Rate

→ The cost of required clothe = 188.57 × 200

→ The cost of required clothe = 37714 m²

Hence , the cost of required cloth is Rs 37714.
