Prove :
L.H.S = R.H.S
i.e
S12 =(S8-S4)
Now,
Sn = n/2(2a+(n-1)d)
S12= 12/2(2a+(12-11)d
= 6(2a+11d)
S12 =12a+66d --------- L.H.S
Now , R.H.S
3(S8-S4)
3[4(2a+7d)-2(2a+3d)]
=3[8a+28d-4a-6d]
=3[4a+22d]
=12a+66d -----------. R.H.S
Therefore L.H.S = R .H S
