HELLO DEAR,

GIVEN:- Solubility of CaCO3 =

0.03g/L

To find solubility product of CaCO3.

SOLUTION:-

The solubity product will be form ,

CaCO3 ----> Ca++ + CO3--

s s s

Let the solubility be X.

So,

Solubility product of electrolyte

Ksp = [ Ca++ ] [CO3 - ]

Ksp = X²

It is a binary electrolyte.

= ( 0.03 )²

= 0.0009

= 9 × 10^(-4)

I HOPE IT'S HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS.
